Finding Safer Products with EPA's Safer Choice Label

Description

Recorded on March 29, 2016

Duration: 47 minutes

This session was provided for regional technical assistance providers (TAPs) and includes a facilitated exchange on how TAPs can be a conduit to promote Safer Choice and serve as a resource for program participants.

Products with the Safer Choice label help consumers and commercial buyers identify and select products with safer chemical ingredients, without sacrificing quality or performance. Safer Choice provides resources for manufacturers to get products labeled, understanding the Safer Choice standard and criteria, and finding Safer Choices to use in your community.

Safer Choice Program participants are continually driving innovation to make chemical products safer. There are currently more than 2,000 labeled products in the marketplace used by consumers, institutions and industry that meet the Safer Choice Standard.

Learn about partnering with the Safer Choice Program, the resources to find safer chemical alternatives and how to become a Safer Choice Partner of the Year.
