“I am pleased to announce that Ms. Elisabeth (Lissa) McCracken has been named as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center (KPPC). Her appointment was approved by the University of Louisville Board of Trustees on April 2, 2015. Lissa has been serving as Acting Director since 2013 following the retirement of Cam Metcalf. She has done an outstanding job over her many years of dedicated service, progressing through a number of positions within KPPC including: Pollution Prevention Specialist, Training Coordinator, Program Manager for Communications and Outreach, and Assistant Director. Because of her experience, outstanding expertise in the field of pollution prevention, and her expansive knowledge of KPPC’s day-to-day operations, I have the utmost confidence in her ability to lead KPPC forward as it continues to fulfill its mission to help companies develop environmentally-sustainable and cost-saving solutions for increasing overall productivity.”
